House made Red Bean Filling

Vanilla bean custard, poured warm and left to set soft.

House pizza sauce, sweet corn, onion, cheese.

Spicy house pizza sauce, jalapeños, pepperoni, sweet corn, onion, cheese.

Toasted black sesame ground to a paste. Nutty, dark, not too sweet.

Whittaker's milk chocolate ganache.

Stone-ground matcha whipped into cream, with red bean underneath.

Our Story

Ppangeo began with a craving I couldn't do anything about.

I grew up eating bungeoppang out of paper bags in the cold. I never thought about how it was made until there was none of it anywhere around me.

So I bought a second-hand iron and spent a winter getting it wrong. The batter came out pale. The filling never sat where it should.

Then one evening it came out right. I've made them the same way ever since. You get one in paper, still too hot to hold properly.
